Scoring Destiny is a fantastic addition to the Pucks & Penalties series that all started with a one night stand between Cash and Maya. They each secretly hoped, but never thought their paths would cross again but fate had other plans. Maya is the sister of one of Cash’s teammates so they will definitely be seeing a lot of one another now that Maya has moved to Atlanta. She is a successful costume designer and is juggling so many potential opportunities and right now one opportunity has her in Atlanta. She loves living near her brother and is making so many friends. Best of all, however, is that she and Cash have the chance to start a real relationship. Cash unfortunately has an ex that ruined him for any other relationships and initially he is emotionally unavailable but Maya is breaking down his walls. These two have ups and downs to deal with but their journey is worth it in the end.
Scoring Destiny is NHL player Cash and his teammates sister Maya’s emotional and heartwarming story. It’s book four in the Pucks & Penalties Series and it didn’t take me long to become invested in this couple and their story.
It was only meant to be one night so imagine their surprise when they bump in to each other at a team party.
Cash and Maya had a night neither could forget and now fate has put them in the same city and mixing in the same circles for the summer. Maya is staying her brother who is Cash’s teammate and it’s not long before they pick up where they left off. Problem is they both have trust issues and moving forward is not going to be easy…..
I fell hard and fast for Cash and I wanted Maya as my bestie but what took this book to another level was the push and pull their relationship had to go through before they could find forever. This is a beautifully written love story that had me smiling and swooning as I cheered this couple on. Scoring Destiny drew me in and didn’t let me go and even after reading the final line I still wanted more.
